90% of the movie was shot in one single day. Shooting didn't wrap until 3:30 a.m.
There
were two alternate parts written for the abandoned house scene. The
first one was using an abondoned house; however, if there weren't any
present nor availible, there was the second plan. Luckily there was a
abandoned house, and the owner was nice enough for it to be used.
Many of the scenes ([ex]fight scenes) had to be written after we arrived at the cabin to make sure everything would work.
The ritual the killer says was completely improvised. There are no such rituals like that.
Originally, Brian was suppose to fall into the tub after they went into the restroom, instead, it was rewitten for the killer to fall in.
